Die Maschine hatte technische Probleme (Triebwerke) und verlor stetig an Höhe. Der Pilot ließ daraufhin Ballast abwerfen, verlor jedoch weiter an Höhe. Der Crew gelang der Absprung aus der abstürzenden Maschine. Alle Besatzungsmitglieder überlebten den Absturz.
